Obertech Group takes all practicable steps to eliminate any possible risk towards the safety of everyone. 

We have an extensive health and safety system that includes employee training, incident reporting, supervisor duties, contractor and subcontractor regulations, emergency procedures and hazard identification and management. It also contains risk management in the event of a pandemic or national emergency.

We promote the continual improvement of our Health and Safety system, including annual reviews of policies, processes, measurement, review, and improvement. Our management systems have been generally established in line with the following New Zealand statutory regulations:

  • Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and Regulations
  • Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
  • Employment Contracts Act
  • Employment Relations Act
  • Privacy Act and codes
  • NZ Electrical Wiring Act 1992 and Regulations and amendments to the above acts and regulations
